Whether it’s estate planning or setting up a family trust, we’ll take care of all the legal needs for you, and your family.

Wills

A Will is a written document that sets out in detail what you want to happen to your estate (i.e., your property and assets) when you pass away, as well as providing instructions for who will inherit your estate, care for your dependants and be the executor among other things. We can assist with the preparation of your Will, as well as considering your estate planning strategy and advising on the most efficient way to deal with your property and assets after you pass, such as with the use of an Enduring Power of Attorney and various trust structures.

Power of attorney

A Power of Attorney is a legal document that gives a specific person the authority to manage your assets and also make financial and legal decisions on your behalf, if you are unable to do so yourself. We can assist with the preparation of your Power of Attorney as well as advice regarding its use.

Estate planning

Estate Planning is much more than just having a will. In addition to Wills and Powers of Attorney, we can and advise on and prepare ancillary documents that will make up you estate plan including superannuation and death benefit nominations, testamentary trusts, power of guardianship and advance care directives among others.

Trusts

We advise and prepare all manner of trusts including discretionary trusts set up to receive the dividends from your company/business, unit trusts to own property and testamentary trusts set up to hold your assets in the event of your death.

Bankruptcy

If you have reached too far, we can assist with advice on your legal position and strategy, negotiating with creditors regarding your debts and restructuring. Where all alternatives appear to have been exhausted and you are faced with bankruptcy as the final option, we can provide you with advise on strategy and procedure and facilitate the bankruptcy process to make it as straightforward as possible for you.
